Shopian: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Shopian, Shishir Gupta today convened a meeting of district and sectoral officers at Mini-Secretariat to take detailed review of the developmental progress in various departments.
During the meeting, several aspects pertaining to overall development were comprehensively discussed. On the occasion, all the departments presented the status of various developmental works undertaken in different sectors like health, education, rural development, PDD, Sports, etc by the concerned agencies.
While taking sector wise review of various major developmental works, the DC emphasized for adopting a coordinated approach for achieving the desired results. He stressed to ramp up the pace of work so that all the undertaken projects are completed well within the stipulated time.
DC emphasized the importance of effective interdepartmental coordination and urged officials to proactively address any impediments in the work execution.
He called upon strengthening the public delivery services and grievance redressal system in the district.
Among others ADDC, Dr. Nasir Ahmad Lone, Dr. Zakir Hussain Faaz, SE R&B, ACR, ACD and other district and Sectoral officers were present in the meeting.
