Around 3 crore cash recovered from car in Lakhanpur

Jammu:- Around three crore cash was recovered from cash in Lakhanpur area of Jammu division on Tuesday.

An official told news agency JKNS that a police party of Police station Lakhanpur under the supervision of Addl. SP Kathua and SHO PS Lakhanpur laid a naka at Despatch point Lakhanpur near Statue of Maharaja Gulab Singh and intercepted one car bearing regd. No. HR98J- 9889 for checking.

He said that during checking, approx. 2.5- 03 crore rupees were recovered from the said car.

Later they arrested all the persons in the car and brought them to PS Lakhanpur for further proceeding, he said.

Investigation in this regard has been taken up.—(JKNS)
