DC reviews functioning of Municipal Council G’bal, Inspects various developmental projects in town

Ganderbal: Deputy Commissioner Ganderbal, Jatin Kishore, who is also Administrator of Municipal Council Ganderbal, convened a meeting to review the functioning of the Municipal council Ganderbal here on Friday.
The meeting was conducted to evaluate the operational efficiency and performance of the Municipal Council.
Executive Officer, Municipal Council gave a detailed overview of ongoing projects, administrative processes, town profile, and other key initiatives undertaken by the Municipal Council.
The DC gave necessary instructions on enhancing civic amenities, optimizing resource allocation, and ensuring streamlined governance for the benefit of locals.
The DC emphasized the importance of collaborative efforts and transparent communication to further enhance the impact of municipal services.
The meeting was attended by Chief Planning Officer, EO Municipal Council Ganderbal, Executive Engineers of PMGSY, R&B and KPDCL besides, staff of various sections of the council.
Later, the DC took an extensive tour of Ganderbal Town and inspected various ongoing development works including marriage hall at Duderhama, Clock Tower and Amphitheater in Ganderbal town, Bus Yard as well as Children Park and Open Gym behind bus yard.
During inspection, the DC gave necessary instructions to the Executive Engineer R&B to expedite the progress of work so that all works get completed in stipulated time frame.
During the visit, the DC was accompanied by EO Municipal Council, Executive Engineer R&B, AEE R&B and other officials of Municipal Council Ganderbal.
