Audit Committee Formed for Mehboob ul Aalam Shrine in Bandipora

Srinagar: The J&K Waqf Board has constituted an audit committee for the Shrine of Mehboob ul Aalam (RA) in Gundpora, Bandipora.

In an order issued by Tehsildar waqf board on 10th February a copy of which lies with news agency JKNS reads, In view of the representations submitted to the Hon’ble Chairperson (MoS), J&K Waqf Board, by the general public, and the subsequent instructions passed in this regard, sanction is hereby accorded to the constitution of an Audit Committee for the Shrine of Mehboob ul Aalam RA situated at Gundpora Bandipora to carry out the audit of accounts and its allied properties for the period 2010-11 onwards.

The Committee shall comprise of the following members in which Nazir Ahmad Wani, I/c Auqaf Section has been appointed as Committee Head.

While, Sajad Hussain Bhat, Administrator Sub Unit Ahemi Shareef Bandipora, Manzoor Shah, Accounts Asstt. Accounts Section and Mr. Reyaz Ahmad Wani, Teacher, Sheikh Hamza Waqf Middle School Ahemi Shareef Bandipora has been appointed as members.

The Committee shall review all relevant records, inspect all properties, and submit a report along with their recommendations to this office within a period of twenty-one (21) days, positively, reads the order.

Officials in waqf board informed JKNS that the committe will be submitting report as pwr timeline. (JKNS)
