Authorities Shut Gurez-Bandipora Road as Gurez Valley Receives Fresh Snowfall

Bandipora: The Gurez Valley of North Kashmir’s Bandipora district received fresh snowfall on Tuesday evening, leading authorities to close the 85 km-long Gurez-Bandipora road as a precautionary measure.

An official confirmed the road closure to news agency JKNS said, snow accumulation along the route that has made travel unsafe. The snowfall has impacted several areas within the valley, including Kanzalwan, Niru, Dawar, and the Tulail Valley, with continuous snowfall reported across the valley.
