Poonch:- Security forces on Wednesday launched a search operation after an explosion took place on KG Sector LOC in Poonch district.
Official sources told news agency JKNS that a mysterious explosion occurred late Tuesday night near LoC in KG Sector of Poonch, with initial reports suggesting it could have been a landmine blast.
They said efforts are underway to ascertain the exact cause of the incident, whether it was triggered accidentally by the movement of a wild animal or due to suspected activity in the area.
They said that search operation has been launched in the area to ascertain the facts.—(JKNS)
