BMO Seeks Explanation from CHC Kalakote Staff Over Alleged Negligence

Rajouri: Block Medical Officer Kalakote has sought an explanation from four CHC Kalakote staff members after a complaint of negligence in attending a patient at midnight.

“The undersigned has received a complaint from one Sanju Kumar R/o Soulki who brought his wife at CHC Kalakote for treatment on the intervening night of Sunday at around 01 am.” Reads the notice issued by BMO, a copy of which lies with News Agency JKNS

First he entered the emergency room on noticing that no one is present in the emergency room, he immediately rushed up to the duty room of the staff. As per the complainant the staff members present on duty did not pay any heed to his repeated request for examining the patient, he kept on moving here and there to seek help from medical staff present on duty but of no avail, it reads.

You all are directed to explain your position for your sheer negligence towards duty within 24 hours otherwise disciplinary action under rules shall be initiated against you.

The explanation has been ordered from Sajjad Malik (OT Technician) CHC Kalakote, Abida Parveen (FMPHW) CHC Kalakote, Mamta Devi (FMPHW) CHC Kalakote and Waryam Singh (MTS) CHC Kalakote, reads the order. (JKNS)
