Two pedestrians dead in road accident at Ganderbal

Rajouri: Three persons were injured in an accident involving a Tata mobile and a motorcycle at Panjnara, Kalakote area of Rajouri district on Monday morning.

Officials told news agency JKNS that an accident took place involving a Tata mobile and a motorcycle at Panjnara, Kalakote, as both vehicles skidded off the road and fell into a nallah.

Three persons were injured, and were admitted to GMC Rajouri, all three injured persons were identified as, 30-year-old Gourab Sharma, son of Jog Raj, resident of Dassal, Rajouri.

18-year-old Mohd Shokit, son of Mohd Tofail, resident of Gameer, Rajouri and 45-year-old Mohd Ashaq, son of Mer Hussain, resident of Talyot, Kalakote, official said.

Police have taken cognizance of the incident and initiated an investigation. (JKNS)
