Srinagar: Police conducted a night-long operation in the Panthachowk area, resulting in the seizure of 08 vehicles involved in the illegal transportation of mining material.
A case has been registered under FIR No. 08/25, and investigations are underway to prosecute those responsible for this illegal activity.
The public is advised to avoid participating in illegal mining or the transportation of mining materials. Srinagar Police urges citizens to report such activities in their localities to help combat this issue and protect the environment.
