Kulgam : The District Development Commissioner (DDC) Kulgam, Athar Aamir Khan on Thursday chaired a meeting of Officers and Officials of Rural Development Department and Panchayati Raj (RDD&PR) at Mini-Secretariat here to review the functioning, progress and implementation status of various schemes in the district.
During the meeting, ACD Kulgam Syed Naseer apprised the chair about the progress made under various schemes like MGNREGA Convergence plan and PMAY-G.
The DDC instructed the concerned to expedite the process of works under MGNREGA Convergence plan with different departments so that durable assets can be built in villages.
He urged the officers for better coordination in convergence plan so that targets be achieved well in time.
DDC called for timely completion of the works which are in public interest with judicious utilization of funds, while ensuring quality of work, in order to create durable assets.
The meeting was attended by ACR Mushtaq Rasool, ACP Nazia Hassan, Exen, Rew, CEO, BDOs and other officers and officials.
