Chargesheet Filed Against Terrorist Associate for Supporting Terror Activities: Police

Srinagar: Awantipora Police have produced a chargesheet in a case related to possessing illicit arms, providing logistics, and furthering terror activities, before the NIA Court Pulwama.

Police spokesperson in a statement issued here to news agency JKNS reads, Police in Awantipora, produced a chargesheet in case FIR No. 120/2024 of Police Station Awantipora against a terrorist associate namely Hijaz Nazir Magray son of Nazir Ahmad Magray resident of Goripora Mohalla Lassipora Pulwama (presently under custody) before the Hon’ble designated NIA Court Pulwama.

Statement reads, During investigation of the said case, the terrorist associate was found involved for offences under sections U/S 7/25 A. Act, 13, 18, 23 & 39 UA(P) Act, for possessing illicit arms/ammunition, providing logistic support to terrorists and for furthering the terror activities.

Police will deal strictly against such ANEs, and is committed to dismantle terrorist infrastructure from its roots, reads the statement. (JKNS)
