Sgr police team earns praise, Rs:35,000 reward for securing 10-year sentence in drug peddling case

Srinagar: A police team led by Inspector Majid Hassan was rewarded for securing a 10-year imprisonment in a major drug peddling case (FIR No. 113/2020) from Police Station Parimpora.

“SSP Srinagar presented a cash reward of ₹35,000 and a commendation certificate sanctioned by the DGP, J&K, to the team. He praised their efforts and reaffirmed the police’s commitment to combating drug trafficking and safeguarding the community,” reads a statement issued by Srinagar police, a copy of which lies with the news agency JKNS.
