Suresh Kumar Gupta (IFS) Appointed as PCCF & HoFF for J&K

Srinagar: The Government of India has appointed Suresh Kumar Gupta, IFS (AGMUT:1991), as Principal Chief Conservator of Forests (PCCF) and Head of Forest Force (HoFF) for the Jammu and Kashmir segment of the AGMUT cadre.

As per an order issued by the Government of India, a copy of which lies with news agency JKNS reads, Suresh Kumar Gupta, IFS (AGMUT:1991) who is presently posted as PCCF (Ex- cadre), UT of J&K, is hereby appointed as PCCF & HoFF, Jammu and Kashmir segment of AGMUT cadre in Level-17 in the Pay Matrix of Rs. 2,25,000/.

This order will come into effect from 01.02.2025, after the superannuation of the present incumbent on 31.01.2025 (A/N) and subject to onward assumption of charge by Suresh Kumar Gupta, IFS (AGMUT:1991) as PCCF & HoFF in the UT of J&K, reads the order.

Important to mention that Suresh Kumar is presently also serving as principal secretary to the J&K Government, school education department. (JKNS)
