New Delhi:The All India Kashmiri Samaj (AIKS), led by its President Ravinder Pandita, met with Dr. Jitendra Singh, Minister of State in the Prime Minister’s Office (MoS PMO), to submit a memorandum on Exodus Day on behalf of Kashmiri Pandits. During the meeting, AIKS also presented a special edition of Naad, the organization’s mouthpiece, which focuses on the Kashmiri Pandits’ exodus.

Recalling the tragic events of January 19, 1990, AIKS office bearers displayed placards reading “We Still Exist” to highlight the community’s plight and ongoing challenges. Key issues such as the pending AIKS case versus the state (OWP No. 477/2016) and the absence of a Solicitor General in the Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory were discussed.

Dr. Jitendra Singh praised the resilience of the Kashmiri Pandit community in overcoming the hardships of displacement and striving for settlement across the country. AIKS representatives, including General Secretary Sunil Koul, Joint General Secretary Ashish Zutshi, Advisor Sanjay Sapru, and Shrawan Pandita, participated in the discussion.
