DC Kulgam conducts review of 50 key indicators in different sectors

DM directs Officers to achieve 100% saturation by Feb 15

Kulgam: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kulgam, AtharAamir Khan on Saturday convened a comprehensive review meeting to assess the progress of various beneficiary oriented schemes under the sectors of agriculture, food & civil supplies, education, social welfare, health, animal husbandry, Industries KVIB, and various credit linked schemes.
The aim of the meeting was to ensure 100% saturation in these schemes and cover all the eligible beneficiaries within District Kulgam by February 15th.
The agenda of the meeting was to evaluate the implementation and performance of numerous schemes across the district.
During the review, the DC reviewed the distribution of food supplies under NFSA, ensuring that eligible beneficiaries receive their entitlements timely. He emphasized the importance of maintaining transparency and efficiency in delivering essential food resources to the citizens.
The DC emphasized Officers of District Industries Centre & KVIB to speed up the PM Formalization of Micro Food Processing Enterprises (PMFME), by providing the financial, technical and business support to the entrepreneurs.
He urged for enhanced outreach to maximize scheme benefits among small-scale entrepreneurs in Kulgam.
Earlier, progress on Artificial Insemination (AI) and Animal Vaccination under NADCP were also reviewed in order to boost livestock productivity. The DC evaluated the progress of Artificial Insemination services and vaccination drives under the National Animal Disease Control Programme (NADCP).
He encouraged the Animal Husbandry Department to intensify vaccination coverage for disease prevention in livestock.
Reviewing the HADP, the DC called for ensuring that HADP’s benefit reaches all eligible farmers effectively. He emphasized expediting the processing of received applications to support agri-businesses and farmers in establishing robust infrastructure.
The DC monitored the ongoing progress in achieving 100% toilet & electricity facility in all govt schools by the end of next month.
The meeting was apprised by the health department regarding the 100% achievement in JSY, JSSK, Land Pass book issuance, Pensions & drinking water supply.
The DC set the target of 500 registrations by each department in key schemes by the end of this month on SAMADHAN portal.
Besides Chief Planning Officer, ACR, CPO, ACP, District Officers from Education, Agriculture, Animal Husbandry, Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs, Lead Bank Manager and allied departments were also present in the meeting.
