Srinagar): The J&K government has ordered several transfers and postings of Superintendents of Police, including those in the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB), for administrative purposes.
As per an official order, a copy of which lies with news agency JKNS, Shri Abdul Wahid Shah, Shri Mohammad Rashid, and Shri Rakesh Kumar, all JKPS officers posted in the ACB, have been repatriated to the Home Department for further postings.
The order further states that Shri Shiv Deep Singh Jamwal (PHQ), Shri Manzoor Ahmad Mir (SO to ADGP Sec. J&K), and Ms. Mamta Sharma (Addl. SP Security, Jammu) have been transferred to the ACB against available vacancies.
Additionally, Shri Javid Hussain Bhat (CO Border Bn. Srinagar), Shri Mehmood Ahmad (Commandant IR 21st Bn), and Shri Abdul Qayoom (Commandant IR 2nd Bn) have been deputed to the ACB, along with their posts.
The order also mentions that Shri Mohammad Saleem Bhat, recently promoted as Superintendent of Police, will continue in the ACB as Additional SP on deputation basis. Dr. Ashok Sharma, previously under orders of transfer to CID, has been relieved from the ACB with immediate effect, reads the order. (JKNS)
