Srinagar: Government of Jammu and Kashmir on sunday ordered re-designation of two IAS officers as Secretary to the Government.
According to an official order issued by GADJK a copy of which lies with news agency JKNS reads, Consequent upon promotion of Mr. Mohammad Aijaz, IAS (AGMUT:2012) to the selection Grade (Level-13 in the Pay Matrix), vide Order issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, under endorsement No. 14016/24/2024.UTS-I dated 01.01.2025, the officer is hereby designated as Secretary to the Government, Department of Rural Development & Panchayati Raj w.e.f. 01.01.2025 i.e. date from which he assumed the charge of the post.
In another order which reads, Consequent upon promotion of Mr. Sarmad Hafeez, IAS (AGMUT:2009) to the Super Time Scale (Level-14 in the Pay Matrix), vide Order issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, under endorsement No. 14016/24/2024.UTS-I dated 01.01.2025, the officer is hereby designated as Commissioner/Secretary to the Government, Youth Services & Sports Department w.e.f. 01.01.2025 i.e. date from which he assumed the charge of the post, it reads.
Earlier IAS officer Aijaz Asad was promoted to the selection grade level 13 in the pay matrix, by the orders of MHA, while IAS officer Sarmad Hafeez was promoted to the super time scale level 14 in the pay matrix by the order of MHA. (JKNS)
