Sand miner drowns in river Jhelum, South Kashmir

Srinagar: A man lost his life while excavating sand from the Jhelum River in Kakapora Hajibal, area of South Kashmir’s Pulwama, Thursday morning.

Officials told the news agency JKNS that the incident occurred early morning when a traditional sand miner lost his life while excavating sand from the Jhelum River in Hajibal, Kakapora.
