Srinagar: Adbee Markaz Kamraz, the oldest and largest literary organization and language movement in Jammu and Kashmir, has urged the Chief Education Officers of all Kashmir districts to include Kashmiri language in their recommendations for introduction as a subject at the 10+2 level.

As the language of the majority of the people, Kashmiri is a vital part of our cultural identity and an official language of the state. Its inclusion at the 10+2 level would promote our cultural heritage, provide opportunities for students to learn and appreciate their mother tongue, and help preserve the rich literary and cultural traditions of Kashmir.
