Baramulla : District Development Commissioner Baramulla, Minga Sherpa on Thursday launched the baseline survey under Mission Yuva at Dakbanglow Baramulla, a key initiative aimed at empowering youth and fostering entrepreneurship across the district.
The survey will identify unemployed, under-employed, and aspiring entrepreneurs, providing valuable data to frame interventions such as loans, skill development programs, and other support mechanisms.
The survey to be conducted through a door-to-door approach, will cover all Panchayats, Blocks, and Villages in Baramulla.
A team of 75 supervisors and 1,500 investigators will be working to gather real-time data on the needs, aspirations, and challenges faced by the youth.
Speaking at the launch, the DDC emphasized the importance of the baseline survey in shaping the future of youth empowerment in the district. “This survey will help us understand the specific needs and potential of our youth. Based on the data collected, we will provide them with tailored support through Mission Yuva, ensuring that every aspiring individual has the opportunity to succeed,” the DC stated.
Mission Yuva is structured around four strategic pillars Culture, Capital, Capacity, and Connectivity to provide a holistic framework for youth empowerment and entrepreneurship.
