In a statement issued from party headquarters the National Conference President while acknowledging the efforts of the government led by Omar Abdullah emphasized the significant impact of the party MLAs and Chief Minister’s extensive public outreach. Their efforts have greatly alleviated the hardships faced by the people and have helped restore a sense of normalcy in Kashmir and the winter zones of Jammu following heavy snowfall, he said.
Dr. Farooq also commended Chief Minister Omar Abdullah for personally overseeing the restorative efforts, including snow clearance, restoration of power and water supply, and replenishment of ration supply.
