J&K Police Conducts Mock Drill at Qazigund Railway Station

Qazigund: J&K Police conducted a mock drill exercise at Qazigund, Kulgam Railway Station to prepare for potential terrorist attacks.

Details available with news agency JKNS states that the mock drill, led by a team of officers, included patrolling and exercises at the platforms and surrounding areas of the railway station. This exercise demonstrates the security forces’ readiness to respond swiftly and effectively in case of any untoward incident.

Similar mock drills have been conducted in the past, such as the one held at Jammu Tawi Railway Station, to test preparedness and coordination among security forces.The J&K Police have also conducted mock drills on law and order situations in various districts, including Kulgam.

The joint exercise involved the Kulgam Police under the supervision of SSP Kulgam, Government Railway Police (GRP), Fire and emergency service, medical teams and Railway Police Force, and aimed to assess preparedness and response to security threats and conducted a mock drill at Railway station Qazigund in Kulgam. (JKNS)
