Budgam Police extends helping hand to stranded tourists at Doodhpathri, tourists expressed gratitude

Budgam: Amid heavy snowfall and slippery road conditions, Budgam Police is continuously helping patients, commuters and tourists who were stuck on roads at different places across the district especially in far flung areas and rescued Doodhpathri stranded tourists.

Police spokesperson in a statement issued here to news agency JKNS reads, timely interventions underscores Budgam Police’s unwavering dedication to serving community even in challenging circumstances.

Tourists at Doodhpathri expressed gratitude towards Budgam Police for the timely assistance and care provided during the difficult times, it reads.

On the supervision of SSP Budgam, Shri Nikhil Borkar-IPS, Budgam Police constituted teams and deputed them across the district for providing a helping hand to the general public especially patients and to avoid any untoward incident or distress especially in far-flung areas prone to heavy snowfall in the district.

Statement further reads, Budgam Police urges the public to feel free to reach @BudgamPolice on helpline numbers provided separately. Budgam Police is on toes and working tirelessly to restore the traffic and ensure safety of general public. (JKNS)
