Shopian : Deputy Commissioner (DC) Shopian, Mohammad Shahid Saleem Dar Friday visited Shopian town and Heerpora village at Mughal Road to oversee the snow clearance efforts in the district and ensure seamless services of essential nature across the district.
The goal is to ensure smooth transportation and accessibility for residents and travelers during the winter season.
During his visit, the DC emphasized the importance of gearing up snow clearance activities, deploying snow cutters, and maintaining road connectivity, especially to hospitals and essential services.
It was intimated that snow clearance has been undertaken in the district and provision of seamless services are being ensured.
By taking proactive measures, the administration aims to minimize disruptions and ensure the well-being of the people in Shopian.
The DC was accompanied by key officials including Additional District Development Commissioner Dr. Nasir Ahmed Lone; ACR, Tehsildar and others.
