Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor, Manoj Sinha, Chief Minister Omar Abdullah and National Conference President Farooq Abdullah extended greetings to Ayan Sajad who has been conferred with the Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar for his sensational Sufi singing.
President Droupadi Murmu conferred the Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar on 17 children for their exceptional achievements at a ceremony held at Rashtrapati Bhavan Cultural Centre in New Delhi on Thursday. Kashmiri singing sensation 12-year-old Ayaan Sajad was among the ones who also got ‘Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar’ award.
“Congratulations to Master Ayaan Sajad on receiving Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar from Hon’ble President Smt. Droupadi Murmu Ji”, the Lt Governor post on X.
“He is a Singer par excellence. I wish Ayaan all the best for future endeavours. May you inspire many more youngsters across J&K UT”, he said.
Chief Minister Omar and NC President Farooq, extended their heartfelt congratulations to Ayan Sajad, the young prodigy from Anantnag, on being awarded the prestigious Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar 2024.
“Recognizing his remarkable contributions to the field of art and culture, Farooq and Omar in a joint message lauded Ayan’s achievement as a source of immense pride for Jammu and Kashmir”.
They expressed their hope that his dedication and talent will continue to inspire young minds across the region and beyond.
The leaders reaffirmed their commitment to supporting and encouraging the youth of J&K in their pursuit of excellence in various fields.
Apni Party President Altaf Bukhari and several other political leaders have also extended greetings to the young artiste of Kashmir for his achievement of the Bal Puraskar award.
