Jammu: Deputy Chief Minister, Surinder Choudhary, on Saturday said that the present government is committed towards nurturing and promoting creative talent in the region.
“Jammu and Kashmir has been gifted with immense creative talent as our artists have created a niche for themselves nationally and globally,” maintained the Dy CM while assuring all requisite facilities and platform for the budding talents.
The Deputy Chief Minister was interacting with filmmakers and artists during the premiere of Dogri Movie Gang War 86, which he released the other day.
While complimenting the film makers for undertaking such an initiative, the Deputy Chief Minister said that these types of movies would go a long way in promoting and giving a new lease of life to the local film industry in both the regions.
“Jammu and Kashmir has been the most preferred location for bollywood for a long time and the government is making every effort to ensure that it regains its spot in the film tourist circuit,” he added.
