DC Shopian visits Sangloo Nallah, finalises beautification project

DC takes stock of development of green area at Lantoor

Shopian : The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Shopian, Mohammad Shahid Saleem Dar visited the Sangloo Nallah and Lantoor village to finalise the beautification and development projects respectively.
The Sangloo Nallah beautification project is set to transform the area with some incredible features. As part of the project, development of embankment shall be undertaken which will prevent erosion and also create a beautiful waterfront area for the residents and visitors.
Additionally, the project includes creating Pathways, making it easier for people to walk along the Nallah and enjoy the scenic views.
Installation of Gazebos will provide shaded areas for people to relax.
One of the most exciting features of the project is the terraced Water Flow which will enhance the ambiance of the area and create a soothing atmosphere.
This feature will not only add to the aesthetic appeal of the area but also provide a peaceful spot for people to unwind.
The DC also visited Lantoor and reviewed development of green areas, and asked for immediate measures for the initiation of execution of the work.
ADDC, Dr.Nasir Ahmad Lone; Tehsildar Shopian, CEO MC, AEE of R&B and Jal Shakti besides other officers and officials were also present on the occasion.
