DC Rajouri finalizes arrangements for JKSSB OMR-Based Exam scheduled on Dec 22

Rajouri : Deputy Commissioner Rajouri Abhishek Sharma on Friday chaired a comprehensive meeting to review and finalize the arrangements for the OMR-based written examination for the post of Constable (Photographer) in the Home Department, scheduled to be conducted by the Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) on December 22, 2024.
The meeting emphasized strict adherence to the guidelines issued by the JKSSB to ensure the smooth conduct of the examination.
The Deputy Commissioner urged all stakeholders to work in coordination to ensure a fair and hassle-free examination process, prioritizing the needs and convenience of the candidates.
Among the key decisions, the ARTO was directed to ensure the availability of adequate transport facilities, especially on routes with a high concentration of candidates.
The task of installation of signage at the centers was entrusted to Centre superintendents & Executive Officer municipality, while the Traffic Department was asked to keep routes leading to the 16 examination centers free from congestion on the examination day.
Furthermore, Examination Observers were directed to visit respective centers a day before the examination to verify and ensure the readiness of arrangements. The Executive Engineer PDD was asked to ensure uninterrupted supply of Electricity during the examination.
The meeting was attended by ADDC Dr. Raj Kumar Thapa; ACR Mohammad Jahangir Khan, besides Observers, Centre Observers, Duty Magistrates and other district and sectoral officers.
