DC Shopian visits Aglar Industrial Estate, resolves illegal encroachments issue, public grievances

Shopian: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Shopian, Mohammad Shahid Saleem Dar on Monday visited the Aglar Industrial Estate to address pressing issues faced by the industries department and the local community due to the development of Industrial Estate in the area.
MLA Zainapora, Showkat Hussain Ganie was also present on the occasion.
During the visit, the DC met local members and interacted with them to understand their concerns and grievances.
Some of the key issues that were resolved on the occasion include removal of illegal encroachments. The DC ordered immediate action to remove illegal encroachments from the government land and ensured that the industrial estate’s land is used for its intended purpose.
The DC reviewed the progress of the development of the industrial estate and listened to the grievances of the local community and industrial unit holders, providing on-the-spot solutions to their problems.
He instructed for proper access of road connectivity to the locals through the estate and access to the local school and playground without compromising on the development of the estate.
The visit was a significant step towards resolving the long-standing issues faced by the industrial unit holders and the local community, and is expected to boost industrial growth and development.
The DC was accompanied by ADDC, Dr.Nasir Ahmad Lone, ACR, GM DIC, DIO Shopian, Tehsildar Shopian and other officers and officials during the visit.
