76 Bn CRPF, Health Deptt jointly organise medical camp at Gangyal, Jammu

Jammu: Continuing the Wellness of Civilians, 76 Battalion CRPF in collaboration with J&K Health Department, under the guidance of IG Jammu Sector and DIG Range Jammu, a free medical camp organized by Vezoto Tinyi, Commandant-76 Bn under Civic Action Programme at Model Town Gurudwara Sahib, Gangyal, Jammu (J&K).
The main objective of the camp was to reach out to the needy people of the area to provide free health care and make them aware about their health.
In the Medical Camp, 02 Medical Officer namely Dr. Amit Kumar (MD Anesthesia), Dr. Shazia Zargar (MD Gynae) Govt. Rajiv Gandhi Hospital & LRPU, Gangyal, Jammu and Dr S. Sowmiya Medical Officer of 76 Bn conducted free medical check-up of around 352 civilians and provided free medicines.
S. Paramjeet Singh Josh, Pradhan Gurudwara inaugurated the Civic Action Programme. On the Occasion, Vezoto Tinyi, Commandant-76 Bn appealed to all people of the area to remain fit by doing physical exercises regularly and sensitized them to maintain a healthy lifestyle & hygiene. Besides, he also elaborated the role of the CRPF in maintaining cordial relationship between locals & Force.
The initiative drew positive response and received well by the locals with the urge that CRPF to organize such camps in the future also.
