Udhampur: A firing incident involving two policemen was reported this morning near Rehambal, Udhampur, officials said.
An official told the news agency (JKNS) that the incident happened around 6:30 am when two policemen from Sopore, traveling to STC Talwara in a departmental vehicle, sustained bullet injuries.
He said initial investigations suggest it is a case of fratricide followed by suicide. Senior police officers are at the spot, and an investigation is ongoing, with more details awaited. —(JKNS)
