Srinagar : National Conference (NC) leader and Advisor to Chief Minister Nasir Aslam Wani on Friday said that the satellite township will be completely for the local population here.
“At present there are no details about the satellite township. But, if it comes up, it will be completely for the local homeless people,” Wani said while talking to the reporters .
He added that the people should stop guessing over the issue and blamed Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for the present situation in Jammu and Kashmir, saying that it is the outcome of their rule.
“It is the PDP, who tried to shift capital from Srinagar to Parihaspora and the people are bearing the brunt of their mistakes,” he said, adding that they should introspect what they have done.
Meanwhile, sharing the details of the party meeting today at Nawa-e-Subha, Wani said that the meeting was held today after a long time as the new Provincial President had to take over the charge formally.
Pertinently on November 09, the National Conference appointed Showkat Ahamd Mir as the new provincial president for Kashmir.
“Since the formal joining was delayed due to the government formation and other things for the last one and a half month, so the meeting was held in this regard today,” he added
