The details said, the repairs are being carried out at the Central Workshop in Pampore and other divisional workshops. Officials highlighted that repairing and replacing damaged transformers within set timelines remains one of KPDCL’s biggest challenges.

Meanwhile, officials have urged residents to use electricity judiciously and avoid overloading local transformers with unsanctioned power loads to prevent further disruptions.

Additionally, KPDCL has issued a strong appeal to consumers to protect transformers by adhering to power usage guidelines, stressing the shared responsibility of maintaining uninterrupted supply during the winter months.—(JKNS)
