Srinagar: A massive fire erupted in the Khanyar locality of central Kashmir’s Srinagar district on Friday afternoon, causing damage to multiple residential structures, officials said.
Officials told news agency JKNS that the blaze has impacted three to four houses in the area, and Fire and Emergency Services (F&ES) personnel are actively working to control the flames and prevent further spread.
They added that, as per early reports, two to three houses have been affected, and firefighters are currently on the scene attempting to douse the fire.
Meanwhile, the fire in on in the area as the report was being filled and more details are awaited.—(JKNS)
