Jammu: Government of Jammu and Kashmir Wednesday suspended District Mineral Officer (DMO) Kathua, pending inquiry into his conduct.
During his suspension, Naveen Kumar, will be attached to the Directorate of Geology and Mining, according to a government order, as per news agency JKNS.
The Government in its order has entrusted Varinder Singh, DMO Jammu, with the responsibility to manage the Kathua office’s routine work in addition to his own duties until further orders. (JKNS)
