Bandipora: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Bandipora, Manzoor Ahmad Qadri on Saturday visited various examination centres established for the Jammu and Kashmir Police (JKP) Constable examination conducted by JKSSRB.
The visit was aimed at reviewing the arrangements for the smooth conduct of the examination across the district.
Qadri toured various examination centers in Bandipora and Sumbal Sub-Division, where a total of 25 centres have been set up to accommodate 5,904 candidates. Out of these, 15 centers are located in Bandipora, while 10 centers have been established in Sumbal Sub-Division.
During his visit to the examination centres, the DC interacted with the supervisory staff and ensured that all necessary facilities, including seating arrangements, proper lighting and security are in place.
He also reviewed the security arrangements and monitoring systems to ensure a fair and transparent examination process.
The DC instructed the officials to remain vigilant and to ensure a smooth and hassle-free conduct of examination.
Interacting with the media, the DC assured that all necessary arrangements, including security, logistics, and other essential facilities, are in place to ensure a smooth and transparent examination process.
He said, all the necessary steps have been taken up to provide a conducive environment for the candidates to appear in the examination without any inconvenience.
The DC further emphasized that all guidelines and protocols related to the examination would be strictly adhered to, ensuring the safety and well-being of the candidates and staff involved.
