Jammu: BSF Senior Secondary School Jammu under the aegis of BSF Wives Welfare Association Frontier HQ BSF Jammu organised a Webinar cum Interactive Career Counselling Session for the senior X and XII class students in the Satish Auditorium on 19 November 2024.
Other Frontier of BSF were also connected via a web link.
The resource person for the session was Dr. Rashi Taggar, Assistant Professor School of Business Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University.
Dr. Rashi Taggar discussed the various career options available in Science, Commerce and Humanities after class XII. She advised students to identify their talent, look for their interest and sincerely follow their ideas and convert them into reality.
She also stressed upon following the dream which fascinates them and not to go for multiple ideas. She asked the students to do self assessment in order to understand whether they were
team leaders, socially active members, team workers or logical workers. She also motivated them not to go for dummy institution rather choose government recognized institution and courses.
The session proved extremely rewarding for the students.
