Takes firsthand appraisal of work progress
SHOPIAN, NOVEMBER 11: The District Development Commissioner (DDC) Shopian, Mohammad Shahid Saleem Dar today visited Shiekhpora Trenz and Allowpora in order to take first hand appraisal of ongoing construction works.
The DDC visited the bridge site at Shiekhpora Trenz and Transit accommodation for Kashmiri Migrant Employees at Allowpora.
He directed the concerned executing agency, R&B for gearing up their developmental activities at both these prestigious developmental sites. He also exhorted the R&B department to ensure their timely completion to facilitate the people.
Executive Engineer R&B, Zainapora assured the DDC of timely completion of projects. He intimated that out of total 432 flats to be constructed at the site, 272 flats have been completed till date at Transit accommodation, Allowpora.
At the bridge, the construction is at final stages, more than 80% work stands completed on 6* 50 M Span bridge and efforts are on to complete it up to January, 2025, he informed.
The DDC was accompanied by Officers and other officials of R&B department during the visit.
