KULGAM, NOVEMBER 08: The District Development Commissioner (DDC) Kulgam, Athar Aamir Khan today convened a meeting of officers at the DC office here to review the physical and financial progress of works under various components of the District Capex Budget 2024-25.

The DDC took a comprehensive, sector-wise review of the financial and physical progress across all pertinent departments, including Roads and Buildings (R&B), Animal Husbandry, Revenue, Education, Youth Services and Sports, Irrigation and others.

During the meeting, heads of various departments briefed the DDC on the status of works allotted, tendered, and completed across these sectors. Each department provided detailed updates on the progress achieved thus far and the remaining tasks.

After reviewing the progress of each department, the DDC urged officials to accelerate the pace of work, especially keeping in view the approaching winter season.

The DDC directed officers to meet the developmental targets set for the financial year 2024-25 within the specified timeframe and emphasized maximizing expenditure realization.

He also instructed department heads to coordinate effectively to address any bottlenecks that could impede the progress of development initiatives.

The meeting was attended by CPO, ACD, ACP, Ex. Engineer R&B, Jal Shakti, REW and other officers.
