Asks for DPR preparations
SHOPIAN, November 04: The District Development Commissioner (DDC) Shopian, Mohammad Shahid Saleem Dar today chaired a meeting to discuss the widening and upgradation of Shirmal- Kukli Mazaar Road.
On the occasion, the DDC highlighted the need of expansion of the vital road link, connecting Aglar Fruit Mandi with Shopian town and instructed the R& B Division Shopian to prepare and submit Detailed Project Report (DPR) for the road for its uptake.
The meeting deliberated on the importance of upgrading the road link in way of decreasing the traffic congestion experienced during the peak harvesting and apple trading season and also shall add to the aesthetic value of the town.
The meeting was attended by ADDC, Dr.Nasir Ahmad Lone; ACR, CPO, Ex. Engineer R&B, CEO MC and others.
