This significant occasion aimed to foster a sense of togetherness and reinforce the values of integrity and solidarity within the community.

The ceremony was held at the SMC headquarters and was attended by all officers of SMC central office including Joint Commissioners, FA/CAO, Secretary SMC, engineers, and senior officials, besides the ceremony was also celebrated in all 35 administrative Wards of SMC which underscored the importance of collaboration in building a unified society.

Speaking on the occasion, Commissioner SMC, Dr Owais Ahmed emphasized the crucial role of National unity in strengthening community bonds. He said that true progress is attainable only when communities unite in respect and understanding.

A highlight of the event was a collective pledge taken by all participants to uphold peace, harmony, and unity, reinforcing their commitment to foster a cohesive environment in Srinagar.
