The meeting discussed various key indicators of the Revenue Department in detail, including digitization and quality check of jamabandis, online services under the Public Service Guarantee Act (PSGA) and other important revenue matters.

The DC directed the concerned officers for quality checking of the digitized jamabandis and set a deadline of November 15 for its completion. She directed the officers to ensure that the Patwaris will check each and every error and feed the correct data in the portal so that the information available on the portal is accurate.

Reviewing the status of online services under the PSGA, the DC stressed the importance of properly disposing-off files on online portals as per the guidelines of the Act. She warned of strict action and penalties for officers and officials who fail to adhere to the timeline prescribed under the PSGA.

She also directed the officers to regularly monitor the status of cases on online portals to prioritize public service delivery.

Earlier, it was informed that quality checks of 340109 pages have been completed in 16 tehsils of the district so far.

ADC Handwara, Aziz Ahmad Rather, ACR, SDM Lolab, SDM Karnah, Tehsildars and other concerned officials attended the meeting.
