_Police Band Shows organised in Kulgam_
*October 28:* “`As a part of various ongoing Commemoration Day events, police on the directions of SSP Handwara Shri Ifroz Ahmad-JKPS organised a day long Debate Competition about the role of J&K Police in nation building at DPL Handwara. Beside, police organised Band Shows in Kulgam.
The event witnessed a diverse group of participants including speakers and students from Bal Ashram Handwara Yateem Trust and Gulistaan-e-Banaat Yateem Trust.
Following the debate, DySP DAR Handwara addressed the audience and responded to the arguments raised by the debaters while shedding light on the active role being played by J&K Police for creating a peaceful atmosphere and paving the way for development. He urged students to collaborate in peace making and participate in competitive exams to contribute to good governance and development. The event culminated with a felicitation ceremony in which winners and participants received prizes and certificates.
Similarly in Kulgam, police under Police Flag Day Week-2024 organised Band Shows near Clock Tower Kulgam and main Market DH Pora.
The Police Band Shows were performed by Band Party of District Police Kulgam. During the programmes, the Band Show performers played various patriotic tunes to enthral the audience and depicting the braveries of Police martyrs. These event not only commemorates our fallen heroes but also fosters community spirit and unity. Kulgam Police extends gratitude to all participants and spectators for making these event successful.“`
