MLA Zainapora chairs introductory/ review meeting with District & Sectoral Officers

SHOPIAN, OCTOBER 24: The Member Legislative Assembly (MLA) Zainapora, Showkat Hussain Ganie today chaired an introductory cum review meeting with district and sectoral officers of the district at Mini Secretariat, Shopian.

District Development Commissioner (DDC) SHOPIAN, Mohammad Shahid Saleem Dar was also present at the event.

On the occasion, Officers presented department wise activities, development and welfare initiatives being undertaken in the Zainapora Assembly Constituency.

District Capex 2023-24 and 2024-25 achievements and ongoing works were also highlighted during the review meeting by respective district Officers.

On the occasion, MLA took appraisal of various developmental issues pertaining to road connectivity, water supply issues, health sector initiatives and upgradations, school education, accelerating irrigation canals network, rural development, horticulture, agriculture works and schemes and other issues of public importance.

The MLA discussed and deliberated on various public welfare measures and sought details of ongoing activities and requirements, department wise. He gave particular focus and prioritised key administrative and development initiatives for the constituency.

He emphasised officers to project developmental demands with meticulous planning based on requirements and feedback of the local public. He said the efficient public service delivery must be the priority and advised for realisation of the agricultural, industrial and tourism potential of the district to the fullest.

Earlier, DDC apprised about the district profile, vital projects under execution and various initiatives of good governance being taken in the district.

The meeting was attended by ADDC, Dr.Nasir Ahmad Lone and various district and sectoral officers.
