Srinagar: Today, Asif Ali Bhat, President of the Jammu & Kashmir Union Territory NYC Employees Association, held a press conference where he extended his congratulations to Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, Minister Satish Sharma, other cabinet ministers, and MLAs for forming a successful government.

During his address, Bhat emphasized the consistent concern shown by CM Omar Abdullah for the genuine issues faced by the Union Territory. He also commended Cabinet Minister Satish Sharma for his dedication to addressing unresolved issues, particularly those related to the youth. Bhat noted that whenever critical matters arise in the UT, Sharma actively engages in resolving them, reflecting his public-friendly approach.

Bhat expressed optimism for a significant announcement regarding the regularisation of NYC employees, who he described as “Qualified Youth.” He urged the government to put an end to the exploitation of NYC youth, calling for wage enhancement and the regularisation of their positions at the earliest.
