We strongly condemn the heinous attack on non-local laborers at Gagan Gir, Sonamarg, perpetrated by militants today. Such acts of violence against innocent workers, who are here to earn an honest livelihood, are utterly deplorable and go against the values of humanity and peace.
The Kashmir Advocates Association stands in solidarity with the victims and their families during this tragic time. We urge the authorities to take swift action to bring the perpetrators to justice and ensure the safety of all laborers in the region.
Violence has no place in society, and it is imperative that we work collectively to restore peace and harmony in Kashmir.
