KULGAM, OCTOBER 17: On the concluding day of Poshan Mah 2024, District Programme Office Poshan Projects Kulgam in collaboration with District Administration Kulgam today organised a mega programme at village Qaimoh in Poshan Project HS Bugh.

The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kulgam, Athar Amir Khan presided over the programme, which was attended by District Programme Officer Poshan Kulgam, Abdul Rashid Dass, Tehsildar Qaimoh, CDPO HS Bugh, BMO Qaimoh, supervisors and AWWs.

The District Programme Officer Poshan Project Kulgam presented a detailed overview of the schemes implemented by the Department. He assured 100% achievement in the targets set by the Department and directed the field functionaries to tirelessly work till desired targets are achieved.

On the occasion, the DC flagged-off the IEC Van to raise awareness among the masses regarding schemes executed by the ICDS Department. He also checked the stalls installed by the ICDS and Health departments.

The DC passed on directions to the ICDS and Health Officers /officials to identify the SAM, MAM, underweight, and Anaemic beneficiaries for immediate redressal. He also highlighted the importance of ICDS and Health Services for the welfare of the common masses.

On spot Anemia testing of 69 beneficiaries including children, Pregnant Ladies and Lactating Mothers was also done by the Health Department in which 09 beneficiaries were found Anemic and referred to Health Department for immediate treatment.
