Srinagar Oct 15: The Inter District / UT Level Basketball Competitions for boys of all age groups concluded on Tuesday at Gindun Ground Rajbagh here. These competitions were organised by the Department of Youth Services and Sports J&K and were hosted by District Youth Services And Sports Office Srinagar. This tournament provided many Districts of the UT of J&K a chance to perform on a Basketball Court for the first time.
One of the main features of this tournament is the brilliant performance of Jammu boys in all age groups. District Jammu showcased a quality game and won the tournament. Today District Jammu beat District Srinagar in the final of U/19 boys category. Jammu boys gripped the game and lifted the title.
Nodal Officer Shabir Ahmad Mir along with Overall Incharge of this tournament Dilbagh Singh distributed the trophies among the winner and runner up teams.
The participants were provided all the logistic facilities by the host District. DYSSO Srinagar Ghulam Hassan Lone extended his gratitude to the winning team.
