UDHAMPUR, OCTOBER 14: To review the modalities and formulation of the AMRUT 2.0 plan in the district, Deputy Commissioner Udhampur, Saloni Rai, convened a meeting with officers and field functionaries of Jal Shakti Department at the Mini Conference Hall, DC Office Complex, Udhampur.
The meeting was attended by Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Dr. Umesh Shan, XEN PHE, Ashok Kumar and other concerned officers.
During the meeting, the DC discussed the plan for the lifting of water under AMRUT 2.0, emphasizing the need to ensure maximum benefit for the residents while formulating the plan. She also addressed the electricity issues hindering the implementation of various Jal Jeevan Mission schemes and directed concerned officers to manage the available electricity effectively to ensure the proper functioning of these schemes.
The DC further directed the concerned departments to improve water supply services in Udhampur and to address the pressing water-related challenges faced by the public.
