Man Killed Over Parking Dispute in Parimpora; Accused Arrested: Srinagar Police

Srinagar, Oct 13: Srinagar police took to X (formerly Twitter) to confirm the arrest of a man involved in a fatal stabbing during a parking dispute in the Parimpora area.

Police reported that Zareef Ahmed Mir, son of Ab Raheem Mir, allegedly stabbed Amir Razak Mir, son of Ab Razak Mir, following a scuffle over vehicle parking near their shops. The victim was declared dead upon arrival at SMHS Hospital.

 

Police takes cognizance of an incident in which an individual namely Zareef Ahmed Mir S/o Ab Raheem Mir R/o Parimpora stabbed another namely Amir Razak Mir S/o Ab Razak Mir R/o Parimpora during a scuffle over vehicle parking near their shops.

An FIR (No. 114/2024) under section 103 of the BNS Act has been registered at Parimpora Police Station. The accused has been taken into custody, and the weapon used in the crime has been recovered. Further investigation is ongoing.
